If the Wi-Fi indicator keeps flashing red, blue, and green alternately and the charger cannot start charging, the charger may be from an earlier production batch running firmware version V1.1.64 that has never been connected to the internet.
To resolve the issue, download the IYILO App and connect the charger to the internet.
If the charger does not appear during Bluetooth setup:
- Open the IYILO App and tap the charger-switch icon in the top-right corner of the Home page, then tap Add.
- Complete the Bluetooth pairing first, then connect the charger to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- If the charger does not appear Online after connecting to your home Wi-Fi, temporarily use your phone’s 2.4 GHz hotspot to test the connection.
- If the charger’s Bluetooth signal cannot be detected, make sure the charger is not actively charging, then power-cycle the charger and try pairing again.
- Once the charger shows Online in the app, go to Sidebar → OTA Upgrade and update the charger to the latest firmware version available.
- After the firmware update is complete, power-cycle the charger again and try charging the vehicle.
If the charger still cannot be found, please contact IYILO Support for assistance.
