This IYILO charger checks nearly every box. It's a safety-first, feature-packed, 48-amp charger that most users will find serves all of their home charging needs. It passed my extreme heat and cold weather testing and has a very useful app for tracking energy use, setting output amperage, and scheduling charging events. For those reasons, I've added it to my recommended buy list.

this video review and installation shows how the IYILO Level 2 home Electric Vehicle charger perfect for charging an EV like the Ford Lightning, Mach E, Honda Prolouge or Chevy Equinox detected a dangerous NEMA 14-50 outlet failure that other chargers missed. While testing EV home charging setups, the IYILO charger’s built-in safety systems identified a ground fault and prevented charging, helping avoid a potentially serious electrical issue.

This EV charger has the latest generation feature, which is to integrate the temperature sensor, right in the charge connector, and also right at the charge plug.

Any EV charger that i've reviewed yet, by having a temperature sensor in the plug, as well as in the J1772connector, this allows it to dynamically control the current, reducing it if the temperature rises, too high or stopping it altogether, that's a really nice safety feature and a huge benefit for that peace of mind.
